Biagio Biondilillo Live on The Corner Pocket Thurs & Sat!

Filed under: DJ Talk, Interviews, In-Home Performance/Interview — Garrett Kelly @ 5:24 pm

Today we are really excited to have Biagio Biondilillo from the local bellingham band All Creatures Of Good Heart on the Corner Pocket Program. Tune in Thursday 2-4pm or Saturday 5-7pm for this performance!

I have known Biagio for years and he is one of the most authentic and genuine people I know. It is often rare to find such warm gems in Bellingham, a city with wind-swept and rain-worn souls. This authenticity comes through in his music, with his soft, breathful crooning voice underlined always by unique and complicated picking style on his acoustic guitar. This set was recorded in his bedroom which only works to make the songs that much more intimate and compelling… Please tune in for our buddy Biagio! You can find his wonderful indie folk band on the ol’ myspace, too:

Speaking of lakes, Ian (of Snowman Plan), Forest and Joseph Peter all recently conducted an interview with Tissø Lake at the new Dearborn space. We’ll be airing this interviewing on Tuesday August 7th @ 8pm PST.

We’ll re-air the interview on Wednesday at 2pm and Saturday at 4pm. It’s a really good one - the interview was recorded in the backyard with kids and cars rushing by in the background. Don’t miss it.

In-Home Performance: Jordan O’ Jordan Sings Sweetly on our “airwaves,” yay!

We’ve got a treat for you this week. We interviewed Jordan O’ Jordan mad libs style, and we convinced him (didn’t take too much convincing) to paint his face for a freakin’ RADIO show! He follows along with our games and creates an improv song involving an I SAW U ad from The Stranger. He also indulges our fascination with his ghost stories, and he sings sweetly on our “airwaves,” yay!

Listen to the interview and performance this week!
