Banana Fish
Last night I went to a low-key house-show at the Canned Fruit house (please clarify if it has another more appropriate name) that Kieran and Cole put on for the Magma Festival. I fell in love with their basement, the stencils on the wall, people smoking cigarettes in a small room. I spent a considerable amount of time reading a poster on the staircase listing all of the US’s major cults, and there was poetry readings and a fat tire ale keg and a release of Cole’s new poetry book “Apple Shadows”.

The official title of Blindfolder and Dogwaters’ lovely Abode is “The Exploding House”
The main singer (Guy with face paint)in this video is their boss. He called into Canned Fruit and sang us this song on the air, not sure if we archived it or not…..I’ll look for it and rename it bananafish so we can play it OVER and OVER and OVER again!
